After months of not writing, I am back! You might notice I’ve renamed this blog from “Overcoming Obstacle Illusions” to “Rediscovering Yourself” which I feel is a much more appropriate theme because, after all, we are all remembering who we are and why we are here. I’ve been on a spiritual journey of sorts since 1995, remembering along the way why I am here and wanting to share my experiences with you so that your innate memories can also be triggered. My aim is to inspire, uplift and help you rediscover yourself in preparation for the coming evolutionary changes on the planet. Believe me, we’re in for a real treat in the coming days, months and years!
Speaking of “treats,” I discovered a delicious, healthy smoothie recipe while on a life-changing road trip to the southwest this summer (Boulder, CO; Sedona, AZ; Albuquerque, NM; Santa Fe, NM and a side trip to visit an old friend in St. Louis, MO). I’ll be updating you on my incredible experiences in the near future but for now, let me just share with you this recipe that I stumbled on in a coffee shop in Sedona.
All you need are the following:
1. Blender (I use a Vitamix – they are fantastic – if you don’t have one, you can purchase one through this blog and get free shipping)
2. Banana (either frozen or unfrozen, it’s up to you)
3. Almond Butter (you can substitute peanut butter if you wish)
5. Almond Milk
Using a Vitamix blender with its ultra powerful blade makes it super easy to create this smoothie. Throw in the blender 1 or 2 bananas, 1 to 2 tablespoons of Almond butter, 8 oz of Almond milk, a handful of ice and squeeze some honey in there and voila!
I ordered this when I was in a coffee shop to prepare for a strenuous hike on one of the Sedona vortexes and it gave me energy all day. Try it. It’s a delicious smoothie you won’t soon forget!
