I have just come across this site and have found it to be informative and interesting with some great content.
Hi Stephen, this is the first that I have heard of this book, I did start The Secret but have yet to finish it, there has just been too much happening at the moment so looking forward to December when I have time. This book does sound great as well.

I certainly agree with you that James was a fascinating person to interview. I'm grateful to have discovered him through another blogger that I mentioned above who interviewed him at her blog.

I loved how you summarized what you learned from my interview with him about "What If? The Movie." Thanks so much for sharing!

The pleasure was all mine James. I truly enjoyed bantering with you in this way. It gave everyone a great opportunity to not only know more about the movie but about you, the director behind it. I love learning more about the people "behind the scenes" because they're the ones who have put things together to make the finished product. People don't realize how challenging it is to do "behind the scenes" work. It makes sense to shine light on those people. And what a fascinating interview it was!

I'll check out Inspiration University and in particular Leonard Orr via google search. Thanks for passing on that information.

Thanks again for the interview!

The name of the training center in Upstate New York was Inspiration University. I believe they shifted to Virginia a few years ago and the most popular intensive was the Spiritual Purification Training. They are probably still offering the course but I lost touch with them and therefore don't have a contact. The founder was Leonard Orr so perhaps a google search would be helpful.

The horror film is still being edited I believe. I signed out more than 5 years ago and I heard about a year ago that they were still in editing hoping to finish. It was called 'Out of Los Angeles' and the primary location was an old hotel in Alberta listed in the 'Haunted Hotel Directory'. It was a learning experience.

Thanks for your comments and we'll certainly stay in touch.

I also very much appreciate the comments from Liara.

James is a fascinating interviewee. Thanks for following up on this uplifting project. Here are a few highlights that stand out:

1) Formal training in one field is a stepping stone to fulfillment.

People will often struggle to find a job or social role that is directly related to a college degree, field of interest or training. Western society conditions people to believe that is the "right" thing to do. Through your interview, James reminds how life is a classroom. That is, getting-in-touch with your passions sort of requires conscious diversions as a wake up call to be more honest with the self. Another way to view life is to recognize you are not what you do, but you learn much of the truth from how you feel where you are.

2) Core beliefs are rediscoverd though peeling away layers of illusion.

Each person creates mental images of what is reasonable, possible and desirable. To evolve to get in touch with core energy flow, James reminds us inner guidance "has all the answers." This encourages trust in uncertainty and faith in the flow of energy and opportunity. As Jim Bouchard recommends, it makes sense to "stay open to what comes." As you open the senses, you recognize opporuntity is everywhere you look.

3) Raising self-awareness leads to surprising turns of events.

For James, one example is the modelling agency experience. Although acting as a model did not turn out ot be his core passion, it was a phase in his evolution that lead to opening his eyes about how he could serve the world in other, related capacities. Opening the talent agency and creating the film were not planned as he entered modelling. Yet, every choice he makes is a step toward reconnecting with core rhythm and listening more closely to what creates harmony for his core energy.
