You left so many wonderful tidbts for reflection in this post. I have heard about Slumdog Millionaire before and feel very drawn to the themes described. Angel stories are always uplifting and they remind us how many personal ones we each have that we disregard far too quickly. Your posts invite readers to revist the significance of events in their own lives. Many people underestimate not only thier own potential, but also the good they do on a regular basis, the uplifting experiences they share and experience but still remain selectively unaware.

I watched the trailer for Slumdog Millionaire. It looks really good. My only concern it is that it may take the Hollywood movie formula and just incorporate Indian actors, but it could be the commercial editing by Fox Searchlight. Anyway, I will give the movie it’s chance. Thanks for the recommendation!

Thanks Ned – sometimes it takes a few of these kinds of gratitude or other posts to sink in before a light bulb goes off and the person sees it for what it has been all along. Been there myself.

I used to see these posts about gratitude every week in the feed reader and groan. I’m not sure where that reaction comes from. Perhaps it has something to do with grasping for things I don’t have and I can’t find the time to be grateful for what I do have.

Now I think this is the best blog theme ever. I really appreciate the reminder. Is there such a thing as a bad gratitude story? It always invokes a feeling of contentment. I think that’s what we are all going for anyway, isn’t it?

Actually, Stephen, I read in the Angels Miracles book that don’t ever ask Angels for help, but ask GOD!! Because God is above Angels. If God will help you, He will send an angel.

Welcome Stephanie! It’s nice to see new names and faces (well, you’re getting around to that right? LOL).

You got it right – angels will help if you ask for it; otherwise they won’t intervene unless you’re in grave danger (which actually happened a number of times throughout my life – I was almost killed on my bike, in a small airplane and in my car as well as in my childhood’s swimming pool!).
