That's a pretty interesting quote but it's true. We are never given more than we can handle so whatever adversity we are experiencing is something we can handle even if we don't think we can.

Liara, good quote. I've read that one before recently. Sometimes it is difficult when God trusts us so much, but he always blesses us through it all when we give ourselves to Him.

Another useful phrase concering coping with adversity is one used by Mother Theresa of Calcutta. She says, "God never puts me in a situation he doesn't think I can handle...Sometimes I just wish he did not trust me so much." This phrase applies to every being.

I'm glad you enjoyed the latest interview with Jennifer. They allow us to get to know another person a bit more deeply, the whole intention of this series.

Hi Stephen - I was waiting for part two, and you and Jennifer didn't disappoint me. The questions were fabulous and Jennifer's responses were marvelous. They show us what a kind and gentle person she is.

Oh Jennifer, you are most welcome! It was a blast and it's obvious everyone else enjoyed getting to know you as well. I am grateful we had an opportunity to make you a star for two weeks straight!

It was also quite gratifying to watch you allow yourself to be transparent and see how much that touched people who were lucky enough to catch our two-part interview. It took a lot of courage to shout out your love for Jesus without fear of backlash or whatnot. Good for you!

I know this was a duplicate comment that WordPress somehow let in by mistake but since it's here, I'm not going to delete it because I think the quote you took from the Course in Miracles was perfect.

So l shall let it stand.

I loved that quote Corinne! I've heard of the Course in Miracles and I think I even had a set of books but somehow I lost them in transit. I remember having them on my bookshelf and once or twice pulling them off to read. But they're not there anymore. I can't remember if I lent them out or not.

Anyway, I see you accidentally submitted another comment of the same words. I thought that was interesting - was it in invisible force of nature wanting to get its point across twice?

I wanted to take this time to say thank you Stephen for this interview and thank you everyone for the wonderful comments in both parts of the interview. I have once again been humbled and overwhelmed at the response.

Corinne, no I am not a student of that course, but I do love that quote. Your comment got posted twice and what a blessing to read it twice. I will be using that quote.
