For sure, this turned out to be a very interesting and gratifying week. Normally, I post this on Thursday nights for Friday morning RSS/email delivery but I decided to take my time with this and post it sometime this afternoon (Friday). (Photo credit: Gabo)
Right now, it’s raining with a bit of cooler temperatures, giving all of us a sneek peek into the Fall season, just around the bend. While I will miss the summer, I don’t mind watching the leaves turn color. But I’m always asking myself, “Where did the time go?!?”
Here’s a gratitude quote for this week:
There is not a more pleasing exercise of the mind than gratitude. It is accompanied with such inward satisfaction that the duty is sufficiently rewarded by the performance. Joseph Addison
In other words, want to avoid dementia? Practice gratitude – it’s great exercise for the brain!
What happened this week……..to cause me to be so grateful?
Faced and Walked Through HUGE Fear
Without going into too much detail, let me just say that there was something I had been avoiding to do for a very long time. The worry and anxiety associated with this sometimes caused me to lose sleep. It made my heart ache because the fear was so great and monstrous-like.
But after reading Steve Chandler’s book Fearless and praying for courage to walk through it, I am incredibly grateful to discover that my fears actually turned out to be groundless. In fact, it was almost as if the universe changed some of the rules associated with the task that I ended up being told, “Everything’s fine.”
I mean, I’ve taken some huge risks with my life like switching from a safe, secure 9-to-5 banking job to a commission-based stockbroker position only to quit that 5 years later. When I left Wall Street, I was pulling down a handsome six-figure income! Now that’s SCARY!
But trust me when I say NOTHING compared to this particular task that I kept putting off.
I learned there are two things you must be willing to do when you’re about to walk through your biggest fear, whatever it is:
1. Truly Surrender the Outcome: Be prepared to give up control and not care what happens. Be okay with losing whatever it is you fear to lose. Surrendering does not mean giving up but taking responsibility for your life.
2. Keep one foot in front of the other and don’t turn back until you’ve gone through whatever it is you need to go through. The pressure from my ego to back out was extremely strong but I forced myself to go through with it. Visualizing God and the angels in my midst helped me a lot. I also kept seeing triple numbers everywhere I went (i.e. 222, 333, 444, etc). I took those as a sign that I was not alone.
Credit goes to God for hearing my prayers and helping me walk though the fire to the light. Thank you!
Blackberry Lost……
Yesterday I was on my way to help Reverend Janet with a booth she set up at a local cultural event. When I stopped for a red light, I automatically looked in my rear view mirror and was surprised to see a woman I recognized from my gym.
Since I was still waiting for the light to change, I opened the door, leaned out and waved to her, shouting “WHAT A NICE SURPRISE TO SEE YOU THERE. SEE YOU AT THE GYM!!”
The light turned green and I was off in a flash to help Janet. As I was walking across the parking lot to go inside the building, my right hand absentmindedly felt around for the Blackberry on my belt but it wasn’t there! I was instantly confused because I was so sure I had brought it with me.
Careful not to allow panic to rise up within me, I calmly returned to the car and went straight back home. As I was passing the intersection where I had just moments ago waved to that lady, my eyes did a quick sweep across the road in the unlikely event the holster fell out onto the pavement.
It was not there.
As soon as I walked into my home, I looked everywhere.
Nothing.
How could this have happened?
My mind went into problem-solving mode and without thinking, I snatched the Blackberry-Sprint folder containing copies of various receipts and rebate forms. The next step was to order a replacement at the Sprint dealership.
But before going there, I had to go back to the cultural event and inform Janet, as a matter of courtesy, that I was unable to assist her at the booth. When she learned of the situation, she knew at once that the Blackberry had to be deactivated as quickly as possible so that no one would have access to my private data should they happened upon it somewhere.
She cried, “GO, GO, GO, GO!” as if shooing away a pesky cat.
Five minutes later, I pulled up to the Sprint building and had someone help me arrange for a replacement. When asked whether I wanted overnight delivery for an extra fee or free delivery in 4 days, I figured I could learn to live without my “Crackberry” for a few extra days, right?
Turns out the universe had other things on its mind.
Later that night, I was checking my email when I found a message from someone who said he had found my Blackberry! Incredulous, I called the number in the email and made arrangements to get it back.
Two hours later, he showed up at my doorstep and personally handed it to me. With so many cars on the road earlier that day, it was a miracle the Blackberry didn’t get crushed to death!
When I reached into my wallet to give him some money, he said with a smile, “Nope, no, no.” Then he drove off into the night.
That was yesterday.
Wait, there’s more.
Just ten minutes ago, a UPS truck pulled up.
Guess who it was for and what was in it?
That’s right!
Spiritual Reading by Akemi
The last thing I want to share with you in today’s gratitude post is a quick recap of my experience with Akemi Gaines who specializes in the reading of Akashic records.
Have you ever had a reading done before?
After receiving some pretty impressive recommendations from people who have used her services, I decided to give it a try.
The following day we went over her written report on the phone. Three amazing things happened shortly afterward.
One, I got an email from someone who told me he was in the process of coordinating an international speaking event and wanted to know if I’d be interested. Interested? Hell, yeah!
Two, I lost my Blackberry but got it back several hours later.
Three, I got the new Blackberry the day after I ordered a new one instead having to wait 4 days!
Was all of this just a coincidence or did it have anything to do with the reading and subsequent “clearing” she did for me?
I don’t know but I will give you a more detailed report in 21 days after doing the ‘homework” she assigned me. I was given a prayer designed to release internal blockages over the next 21 days. I’ll be in a better position to give you a report.
Meanwhile, if you’re curious about her and her work, I suggest you head over to an interview she did with Hunter Nuttall whose blog tagline says “Stop Sucking and Live a Life of Abundance.” It’s a rather very interesting and informative interview.
“Tim Ferris Diet” Just Got Easier!
Not only did I end the week with the lowest weight in months (165 lbs.), but I discovered through a YouTube video showing exactly how Tim Ferris makes his scrambled eggs without the mess.
I couldn’t believe I didn’t know about this before I started this experiment almost 4 weeks ago!
Check out his video and you’ll see what I’m talking about.
Food for thought: Do any of you keep a gratitude journal? I used to do that but for 44 weeks now, this weekly post has become a gratitude journal of sorts. What about you?
If you liked this post and you want to be notified of the next one, subscribe via Email or Full Text RSS Feed. I would love to have you as part of the community!

Welcome! You've arrived to a newly renamed blog (formerly called Adversity University) specializing in personal development for spiritual beings having a human experience. To see a speaking demo tape and other information, please click

Akemi’s readings are a force to be reckoned with. As I was scrolling down, I noticed her picture in your PicLens Slideshow–she was the first one who came up! Is that a synchronicity? I have no idea, but it’s always fun to wonder. Thanks for the link to the interview.
4:24 pm on September 5th, 2008 2
@ Hunter Nuttall:
Well, I’ve always been of the firm belief that synchronicity is a well-planned event, courtesy of the universe. It awes me every single time.
I’ve just started my 21 days of prayer homework that she gave me. It should be interesting to see what happens, after those events I just mentioned above. Again, I have no idea if they were in any way related to the reading but hey, I consider myself a very open minded spiritual individual.
And actually, I forgot to add that the day I decided to go through and face my fear was approximately the same day, unbeknown to me, that she did the clearing while doing the reading! Coincidence? I think not.
4:55 pm on September 5th, 2008 3
Yep, being calm is the best way as it keeps your mind clear for possible solutions and/or alternatives to problems.
So, did you keep the new Blackberry, in case you lose the other one again?
Btw, I watched the youtube of Tim Ferris’ simple scrambled egg. I would suggest, if you don’t mind, to use glass bowl instead of plastic bowls. I’ve read articles about plastic tupperwares used in microwaves that could cause cancer.
5:24 pm on September 5th, 2008 4
Hi Stephen,
Thank you for the mention, and I’m honored to be of help to you.
For your readers — if you want to check my Akashic Record Reading service, please check this link. Yes to Me is more about entrepreneurship.
And if someone has any questions, please ask in the comments, or email me. I will be checking back to answer them.
Blessings,

@ Nita:
Yes I kept the new Blackberry in case the one that was returned to me gets lost again (God forbid!) or somehow breaks. The new one will be my “backup.” All I have to do is take it in to have it reactivated.
As for plastic versus glass bowls – I wasn’t aware of plastic tupperwares used in microwaves could cause cancer. I’ll have to look into that. Thanks for alerting me.
2:12 am on September 6th, 2008 6
I can’t imagine living without my blackberry – for email and because it’s my cell phone for texting. I would be untethered. And very sad
. I have a backup blackberry too just in case. It’s a couple years old at this point, but it works fine and I like having it in my room just in case!
6:29 am on September 6th, 2008 7
@ Sid Savara:
Like you, I now have a backup Blackberry as well – it just arrived via UPS yesterday! So now it’s sitting in the box, waiting to be activated. I never thought I’d be so attached to it but it’s a part of me now. Especially useful when traveling.
9:08 am on September 6th, 2008 8
As usual another inspiring post, and timely as well. Thank you!
Ever since I met you my life has been opening up to a new “purpose” I am on my way to discovering. Thank you for your honesty and candor, it has opened my mind to what is possible!!
ps I am glad you have 2 blackberrys now

@ Jen Krejsa:
It’s cool to know how sometimes my blog posts appear in a timely manner for those who become inspired by them at the right time. Thanks for letting me know.
Yes, I’m glad I have TWO blackberries now. I’m truly addicted, aren’t I? LOL.
Look forward to seeing you soon. Hey, don’t be afraid to invite me to lunch or hang out or have dinner.
12:29 pm on September 6th, 2008 10
I love your idea of ending your week with gratitude. I especially liked the quote you mentioned.
Talk about synchronicities (although mine are different than Hunter’s and Akemi) – the photo you posted is from a raw food restaurant in California called “Cafe Gratitude”. It’s my favorite restaurant, they have the best desserts.
I also love Steve Chandler, and I need to get myself some of his books since my stack is running low.
I’ll be keeping my eye on your blog!
1:28 pm on September 6th, 2008 11
To answer your question about keeping a gratitude journal, I have done that several times over the years and always had a better attitude toward life in general when I did. One year, I even gave gratitude journals as Christmas gifts to family and friends.
1:35 pm on September 6th, 2008 12
@ Nathalie Lussier from Billionaire Woman:
Thanks for stopping in! I’ve had a week full of synchronicities – it’s amazing! You mentioned Gratitude Cafe – well, I had been looking into starting a new 30 day experiment with another type of diet/lifestyle change – going raw – eating raw food.
While I was doing some research into this area, Gratitude Cafe kept coming up repeatedly! Apparently, they have good raw food items on the menu? I’ve seen their pictures too in Flickr so I imagine one day I’ll be sampling their food whenever I’m in the area they’re located in.
Yes, Steve Chandler is an awesome writer. I aspire to do what he’s doing. He has a great story about how he got published. Kind of like mine – he kept getting rejected from one publisher after the other and finally decided to self publish. I’m heading that way now just after hearing from Wiley – they said, “sorry, your book isn’t a good fit for us, blah, blah, blah.”
NEXT!
Thanks for stopping in – like I said in my comment to you, I’ll be mentioning your name at the end of the week in my next gratitude post. Stay tuned!
1:39 pm on September 6th, 2008 13
So now you have two crackberries!
I’m looking forward to reading more about Akemi’s reading and the 21-day homework. You want to do our book borrowing process and lend it to me?
6:34 am on September 7th, 2008 14
Aloha Stephen!
I love your success! Tim Ferris has such a wonderful way and able to get the info out to the general population to understand easily. Great find.
The idea of using glass over plastic I feel is missing the point- the Microwave!
While they are quick and convenient and the macro nutrients are probably still quantifiable I do have to wonder about the energetic quality of the food.
Perhaps the cooking clean up time could be considered a practice in mindfulness making it easier to swallow
I for one am very grateful for you and your site!
Be well and Aloha~ Gina
4:43 pm on September 7th, 2008 15
@ Gina:
Thanks Gina – how delightful to hear from someone who greets with “Aloha”!
Someone else, a friend of mine, echoed Nita’s concern about using plastic tupperware versus glass in the microwave.
It’s hard to tell if the microwave itself causes cancer but it’s sure convenient! LOL
Unless I hire a butler, I forsee myself continuing the use of the microwave for as long as I am on a diet like the “Tim Ferris Diet.” Lately though, as I near the very end of this experiment, I am considering a new experiment – that ofa raw food plan. But while considering the possibilities, I am faced with a new dilemma. I have a blender that sucks to death. I need to get a high quality blender to make smoothies, juices, etc.
Two high-end blenders come to mind: VitaMix and Blandtec; both hover around $400 to $500. ACK! I’ve never ever thought of spending that kind of money on a blender! Have you?
So, the drama continues – I continue to search, research, think about it and then will probably plunge down the bucks for it.
Thanks for stopping by – I’m glad you like my blog and find it useful and inspiring.
4:51 pm on September 7th, 2008 16
@ Karen Putz / DeafMom:
Yes, that’s right – two crackberries. I never dreamt I’d have two in my possession!
And now what did you say about the book borrowing process? Actually, that reminds me, my darling friend, didn’t I lent you a book over the summer when I was there visiting you or did I end up taking it with me? I remember offering to leave the book (can’t remember what it was) but then I also remember changing my mind because I think I said I had a lot of notes in there.
What book was that? Do you remember?
And as for borrowing, lending and exchanging books, well, I gotta be honest with you dear friend. I hate lending out my books. Why? Because number one, they almost never get returned. Two, I like to write all over my books, sometimes with personal, deeply personal notes on the sides, some of which I might not exactly want other people to read (except maybe after I’m long gone, LOL).
And thirdly, I think it’s a healthy idea to build your own library. Why? Because then you’ll have a stack of reference books, right there for the taking anytime you want to review something. Besides it’ll make you look a whole lot smarter than you really are. LOL. Just kidding.
But I’ll tell you one thing – when I first built my bookcase, I made a vow that every single book on those shelves will have been read from cover to cover. So far, I’ve kept that promise to myself.
I rarely read books more than once though – but I’m getting better at that – every now and then I’ll find a book I read once and re-read it again. It’s like watching a movie for the 2nd time and sometimes finding things you missed the first time.
You go for it girl! No more book borrowing – it’s detrimental to your health. Mooohahahahaha.
7:23 pm on September 7th, 2008 17
Aloha Stephen!
It is even more delightful to say Aloha so go on…give it a whirl
About the microwave…I don’t think the microwave causes cancer yet I do have concerns about what the intense action (and therefor quick) of cooking from the inside out actually does to the integrity of the food. Not that you will be worrying about that on your Raw Food diet! As Raw Foodists consider the even more slow cooking of the stove even to harmful to the integrity of the food (enzymes etc).
OK so all of this can be splitting hairs depending where a person is on the food spectrum but it is -well good Food For Thought
One last thought …The blender. Your money will be very, very well spent on a Vita Mix. They have been around forever and you can do it all from raw soups to nut butters. They are easy to maintain and last forever (if you tire of it easy to sell on craigs list).
I don’t currently have one as I sold everything and I mean everything a while back when I relocated to Hawaii and have only a great blender (no vitamix) now. Living a bit more simply here ..Island Style. But listening to you and your journey I am having a bit of blender envy. I pay so much to buy nut butters I could pay off the crazy thing in no time!
Be Well and Keep posting on your food journey I love it and the rest of your blog is a fabulous lift for my spirit.
A hui hou!
11:14 pm on September 7th, 2008 18
Ahem, did you see all the books I had around my house when you were visiting? The hubby has made me promise that I will not buy any more books. So the library is my second home. I will occasionally escape and spend an hour or two at Borders.
That book you planned to lend me was something about 7 rules… I went to the library over the summer to try and find it and forgot to ask you what the title was. Do you know which book it is?
9:14 am on September 8th, 2008 19
@ Karen Putz / DeafMom:
I must have completely missed the books while I was there! Gasp, sputter, cough, hack!
7 Rules?
It’ll come to me – I feel a faint tugging at my memory. I remember the emotional feeling of that book – it was GREAT – and I couldn’t stop telling you about it, right?
Now, if only I could remember the title! 7 Rules??? Let’s see….wait a second. I’ll be right back (going to bookcase and scanning them for you)…..
Ah, I found it. You were off by 10. The book I had raved to you about was called “17 Lies That Are Holding You Back and the Truth That Will Set You Free” by Steve Chandler. Yep, that’s it. Great book. It inspired me to write a post but I believe it was also the inspiration behind Michelle V. of Divine Purpose to put her ebook having to do with myths and lies associated with your divine purpose.
There you go. Problem solved!
9:22 am on September 8th, 2008 20
@ Gina:
Ok, let me try saying it: Al-HO-LA. There did I get that right? I’ll have to practice saying it so when I finally land in Hawaii sometime in the future, that word will slip out effortlessly as if it had been part of my vocabulary all my life!
Well, thanks to you and Nita plus Krisja (a local friend and subscriber), I’ve stopped using plastic containers to microwave my food. I’ve begun to pay attention to using ceramic or glass bowls to heat my food in the microwave. Thanks for making me aware of it. My friend put it aptly when she said, “The substance of the plastic container changes elements when in there, therefore particles can infiltrate your food.”
You’re the second person to highly recommend the VitaMix. That’s it! I’m getting this. It sounds like a great investment and I’m serious about my next 30 day experiment – raw foods. I know how lumpy my smoothies are in the current blender and it sucks. Besides I’ve heard people owning the VitaMix for at least 10 years. That comes to only a cost factor of $38 to $50 a year, depending on how much you paid for the unit. Not a bad investment, I’d say.
Thanks for the tip! I’m pretty excited about it. I can’t believe I’m about to shell out big bucks just for a blender but it’s not just any ole blender. It’s supposedly powerful, easy to use/clean, etc. WOOT! Can’t wait to get one now!
What made you move to Hawaii? I think it’s way cool you did that. Where did you move from? Thanks so much for the continuous moral support – I can feel your energy all the way from Hawaii! (Sometimes I like to exaggerate the pronouncement of the word Hawaii and I’ll say “HI – WHY – YA.”) Tee hee.
10:46 am on September 8th, 2008 21
Yes, that’s the book and just in time for my trip to the library today! I’m going to pick that one up. The younger two kids are home from school today so that’s where we are heading after I’m done working this a.m.
11:14 am on September 8th, 2008 22
@ Karen Putz / DeafMom:
GREAT! Let me know what you think.
And speaking of books, I was up until 1 am reading Lance Armstrong’s autobiography! I couldn’t believe I read the entire book (280 pages) in one sitting. I cried several times, laughed and smiled. It was a very compelling book.
Have fun with the 17 myths and lies book – I think you’ll enjoy it. Easy read, relatively short chapters, etc.
1:55 pm on September 8th, 2008 23
I just have to say that I needed to read your post today. I wasn’t feeling good at all this morning and I know that the solution to that is remembering the things that I am grateful for and to focus my thoughts on what it is I do want!
Thank you for your post today!
6:08 pm on September 8th, 2008 24
@ Angelwitch:
I’m glad this post lifted you when you needed it the most – we all need that boost from time to time and I’m thankful you found it here.
4:26 am on September 9th, 2008 25
Aloha Stephen!
Youa are going to love the Vitamix- I’m so excited that you are getting one I have almost talked myself into purchasing one!
As for how I got to Hawaii well I think it could be an entire blog in its self. For now I’ll say I have appreciated your question as it has given me cause to look back and see just how big a deal it was to close down an entire life in NY (Finger Lake Region) and begin my journey to the warmest most exotic yet still American (I was not that brave)location I could find to rest and recover from a busy and frantic life. Amazing to me now that I could and did do all it took to get my self here and make the wonderful life I have (it has always been wonderful in it’s own way -this is just wonderfuller)
Keep us all posted on the Raw diet…you are a brave one I must say!
Aloha~ Gina

@ Gina:
I know from the bottom of my heart that you are not blatantly trying to promote your site with a link in this blog’s comment section. You are responding to my comment earlier about Hawaii and how much I love photos that I’ve seen in another blog.
So, it is with open arms I welcome a link in your comment so those of us who are interested in seeing a self-made photo of Hawaii can go to your blog to check it out.
I had to respond in this manner because I want to reinforce the concept that this blog is not a place for people to promote themselves with a link inside the comment section.
That’s what filling in the URL box is for so that if a reader feels compelled to check your blog out, for example, all they have to do is click on your name. In other words, leaving a link that isn’t relevant to the discussion is moot and unwelcome.
But again, yours was. It was appropriate and I thank you for sharing.
7:34 am on September 11th, 2008 28
@ Gina:
Guess what?
I LOVE THE VITAMIX blender! I’ve used it several times already and have made some fantastic smoothies. Oh my goodness, wait until you see a post I will write about going raw shortly.
Buying that blender was the best investment I’ve ever made in a kitchen appliance. I used to own the Oyster blender (well, I still do, anyone want it?) but once I started using Vitamix, I have been blown to smithereens. Whereas the Oyster blender made my smoothies lumpy and hard to mix, Vitamix made it super smooth and a breeze to make. Unbelievable.
In fact, I’m so pleased with it, I’m thinking of making myself an affliate because I believe in their product so much.
Anyway, I’m very familiar with the Finger Lakes region in New York. I was born and raised in Latham, NY (near Albany). I once flew a plane to the Finger Lakes region to refuel while on my way from Michigan to Schenectady, New York for the Christmas holidays! Beautiful area, I must say.
Thanks for sharing a snippet of your story – look forward to learning more about how and why you moved to Hawaii – I have fantasies about doing that myself. But I would be so far removed from every person I’ve ever known, especially my family. I’m far enough away from them now but close enough to visit without difficulty. Flying from Hawaii to the mainland to visit family could get…well….let’s just say it ain’t cheap.
Thanks for the raw diet support – I’ll keep everyone posted, definitely. In fact, I’m writing an update TODAY.

Very interresting post,
i left also a six figure sp postition 4 years ago to try the perilious path of the entrepreneur and passion
all my friend call me nuts for that, but i never regret to have taken this decision, as there is a clear goal and it will be reached soon or later
thanks for sharing your outlook

And what was the “sp” position you left? What made you decide to move from Point A to Point B? Was it a spiritual revelation or did someone say something to you, giving you a light bulb of a moment or what?
I love stories like this because it goes to show that we are led by invisible guiding hands, taking us to places where we never dreamt would be possible.
Thanks for coming by and sharing your story. Congrats on taking that leap of faith. I look forward to learning more about you Halille.

Great news on the vitamix, and you have just started!
For more great info on raw and all you are doing to your body you may want read or google David Wolfe and or Gabriel Cousens both amazing men in the Raw community.
My sincere apologizes to anyone I may have put off by entering my url. I guess I have a lot more to learn about the rules and etiquette this blog game. Again e kala mai.
Make it a fabulous day!

And how I love it! I just had a green smoothie for lunch and I’m pretty full! This time I threw in avacado into the mix! Hmmm….I love experimenting. That Vitamix is really incredible.
Chop, chop, chop, chop, whirrrr, whirrrr, blend, blend, blend.
With regards to your URL in the comment, not to worry. I’m glad to help you learn along the way. It’s “unwritten” protocol in the blogging world not to leave a self serving URL in the comment unless it is totally appropriate and related to the subject matter. Otherwise, that’s what the URL box is for when filling out the comment form.
My feeling is if readers are interested enough in checking you out on the basis of your comment (which I’d hope be interesting, authentic, exciting enough), then they’ll click your hyperlinked name, which will take them where you want them to see.
Thanks again for coming by.

@ Stephen
it was some change in my life that occured during the year of 2001. It all started with one reading and questioning myself about where i was and where i wanted to go. This book was the book written by what i called “the strongest woman on earth”, San Suu Kyi of Myanmar (Burma) .
She live in a country nobody on earth seem concerned about, as most countries slept with the dictatorial leaders.
so back on track, it was revealing on the spiritual dimension and on the “Emotional intelligence” dimension
the difference between my life in the corporate world and my situation right now. Now there is a clear purpose to make something big.
@ General audience
my actual position is Infopreneur, this mean i compile my knowledge and make it accesible to people.
Some people cal it “selling informations” ; that’s a shortcut
if you look at the websites of my favorite infopreneur Dr.Mani, you’ll discover something incredible, that a small business can save life just leveraging the power of the internet
i am glad to have met Dr.Mani and consider him more a guide than a friend
6:45 am on September 14th, 2008 34
@ Halille:
I think many of us reach a point where they start questioning their life about where they are and where they want to go. As we move forward in time, I believe this self introspection will reach critical mass – at that point, the human race will be waking up.
1:27 am on September 16th, 2008 35
@ Stephen
yes, this introspection stage…..but some reach it several times in life
However not everybody react the same way in that situation, some react quite negatively and make their life worse. Some take charge and co beyond to find a reason for living, some just keep goign in the rat race without clear direction.
I think the actual world need leader that will gave them direction when they find themselves there.
i like your “the human race will be waking up” ; some just prefer to run to their favorite drugstore as seen on your favorite TV/Movies
I really think a big change is possible only when people will think as a whole human nation, but we are far from that, so far from that ideal world
so better embrace the one we got and make our tiny contribution to make it better
8:16 am on September 23rd, 2008 36
@ Halille:
You offer interesting viewpoints. As I was reading it, I kept thinking of phrases like “the tipping point,” “mass consciousness” and there was one other that included the word “critical” but I couldn’t think of the word following it.
Basically, when enough people are focused on something, I just got it, “critical mass.” I think that’s what I was trying to come up with. Anyway, when we reach “critical mass” with a certain way of thinking, it becomes inevitable that whatever it is we are all thinking will manifest.
People are afraid of change. They know we, as a nation, need it but when it comes down to individual lives, it scares them. My hope is that everyone, including those in remote rural areas, are aware of how much we need change at the nation’s political capital to bring our country to the next level.
It’ll be interesting to see what happens in November.

even i am not in USA and not related to, all the world is watching what happen in USA
we hope that there will be some change, as the last time you voted, all the world(outside USA) watched the results in complete disbelief
in Europe we say after the rain come the sun
