You’re right – I admit I was wrapped up in that for some time. I was a little envious of blogs that had thousands of subscribers and huge traffic numbers. There are bloggers out there who are able to sustain themselves financially because there’s enough traffic to click on advertisements and more than enough people who are willing to pay for downloading whatever you have to offer (i.e. e-books, etc).

But over time I began to let that go, realizing that I’d rather have 600 quality subscribers, a good percentage of whom are active commentators (like you) versus 10,000 subscribers who are too busy to “get deep.” Follow what I’m saying?

Thank you for reminding me that the universe works in mysterious ways that are not readily seen by the limited senses. How very true! And you know something? It never fails to put me in a state of awe when so-called miracles, coincidences and surprises materialize. My heart never fails to swell with so much love at such moments!

This post reminds people they can get too wrapped up in quantities and numbers. The quality of what you write affects people positively even if you are unable to identify how many people actually read it. The universe works in mysterious ways that are not palpable using limited human senses. As you transcend conditioned limitations, you begin to sense intrinsic value in the unseen and unverifiable.

@Karen: Well, it certainly made me chuckle too! Especially this morning when it jumped to 5,177 subscribers.

@Sharmaine: You’re right – go with the flow. That’s actually the name of a ministry at my church – “Go with the Flow.” I’ve learned never to underestimate it. Thanks for reminding me that this is a snapshot of things to come. It’s all about when they will manifest. It’ll be interesting to see what happens. As always, thanks for your continuing support.

Go with the flow…don’t resist it…the universe is speaking prophetically to you. This is just a snapshot of things to come!!! On some plane, you DO have those many subscribers… they are growing by leaps and bounds and it’s just a matter of time before they manifest!

Hey Corinne:

That’s a great idea! In fact, I’ve already got a snapshot on my hard drive because I needed to capture an image of it for this blog post. Thanks for the suggestion.

With regards to the Feedblitz fiasco, if it happened before, it’s likely to happen again so you’ll be taking your chances when you check in with the reports on any given day. But, oh well, what can you do?

Update (1/20/09): You better not look at your Feedburner reports today because Feedblitz still hasn’t corrected the glitch. This morning’s report told me I now have 5,177 subscribers with 96% coming from Feedblitz.

I heard about that glitch from many bloggers today. Glad I didn’t look at mine. And now I won’t. My heart couldn’t take it.

But I would suggest you print out that whole page and paste it on your computer so it imprints on your brain.

This stuff works!
