Corrine:

How very nice of a townhouse you must have! Only 40 feet from Lake Michigan? Wow. I can only imagine.

Thanks for sharing your gratitude today.

Dear Stephen -

I am grateful for my three sons who call their mom almost every day. And my beautiful and healthy three granchildren.

-For my little townhouse that I bought VERY reasonably before the real estate started soaring. it is 40 feet from Lake Michigan! Can you imagine how wonderful it is to see the sunrise from my big chair in the living room?

For this new interest in blogging where I have met new wonderful friends like you.

Thanks for reminding me of my good fortune in life! We so tend to take things for granted.

love,

Corinne

Joni:

Yes, indeed He is! I love those words. In fact, it's my favorite part of Sundy service when we get to shout out those six words.

God is good...all the time! Love it! :)

Hey Phil!

Your comment brought a smile to my face, especially when you typed in the word "GREATful." I thought that was funny.

Well, my friend, what can I say? You've done for me more than I could ever have expected.

When I was totally unknown and just getting started, you reached out to me when I sent you an email out of the blue about your poignant story many months ago in the "positive thinking article" over at your blog. For the benefit of my readers here at Adversity University, it is here:

http://makeitgreat.typepad.com/makeitgreat/2007/07/change-your-lif.html.

So it is me who is GREATful for the connection! :) It should be an interesting journey to see where the world of blogging will take all of us. Thanks again for being a friend.

Stephen - I am also grateful (and fully GREAT!) for having you in my life. You're doing some amazing stuff in the world, and I am thankful for your kindred spirit that runs alongside of me to boost me when I am down as well. Just your writing and your sunshine smile makes it better for me.

Thanks friend! You are one GREATful! guy!
