I’ve been on a perpetually uphill climb to the “Road less travelled” or the “Narrow way” since…well…forever. That’s no lie. And sometimes, I come into so much insight at one time (from the phenomenon of “ASK and it will be GIVEN”..that this posting deals with and that the Bible discusses) I feel overwhelmed. But when I decide to marry that overwhelming feeling with a determination that comes from my bones and my sustenance…good things happen to me. By Googling “how do I get started on bettering myself” … random words, words that just kind of plopped forth from my mind to my fingertips to the keyboard of my laptop in Starbuck’s in Texas…I journeyed to your life. Our lives crossed paths, and I had to let you know that you’re making a difference.

Kudos to you, and if you have the time, it would be nice to hear from you. I want to at some point do the type of work you’re doing. I have a lot to offer the world, and people like you are paving the way.

i have an ambivalent relationship with asking for help, too. but whatever it is, the times when it does work are so powerful, it’s worth overcoming the fear of going for it.

In fact, I’ve written a book on the subject I want to share with you. It’s called Help Is Not a Four-Letter Word: Why Doing It All Is Doing You In published by McGraw Hill. I started having panic attacks and wanted to learn why.
