@<a href="http://www.adversityuniversityblog.com/2007/08/13/how-having-a-passion-can-save-your-life/#comment-24632"> Liara Covert</a>:

Yes, passion is definitely a curious thing. It comes and goes in waves, I've noticed. And I've found that one way of holding on to the passion is by having a vision of sorts to keep you inspired.

For instance, the passion I have about eating raw foods (i.e. fruits and vegetables) is the vision I have about having great energy, a "glow" and appropriate weight levels all of which keep me in good, healthy shape is what keeps me passionate, especially during the winter. It's not easy to maintain this during freezing winter months yet I've stuck with it because of the vision I have for my body, mind and spirit.

Thanks for the compliments!

Passion can seem like a curious thing. Many people assume it must be a source of love or intense anger. Not everyone has yet permitted themselves to learn what its like to live with intensity. You do a fantastic job of encouraging readers to step outside their comfort zone. This shows courage. It is disorienting when passion in the mind is not always recognized or expressed in thoughts and feelings. People have to work through their own denial of the truth before they evolve to feel ready to acknowledge and explore what matters to them.
