Gordon:

And when we do, our life forever changes in that moment. It's awe inspiring to realize.

I was really inspired by your post. I'm in my mid 20's and I've changed careers since I graduated. I started with HR outsourcing then shifted to putting up my own food business after two years. My business did good but it's not enough so now I'm became an online freelancer which is more rewarding in my opinion. I hope I'll find my true goal in life soon.

I'm just curious -- what was the engrossing book that you were reading in Florida? I know it may have just contributed to your relaxed mood, but I also believe in how art can inspire. Was it a novel?

I can totally relate with the revelations that surface when escaping the daily grind. On a couple of occasions, hiking in the mountains in New Zealand and sailing through fjords in Norway (both vacations from my desk job), I came to some significant realizations about my life. Now I'm not only remarried, but working from home!

Thanks Avery - I do enjoy this passion of speaking and transforming lives. It's was one of the things I was put here to do.

Motivational speaking is an art, I find. There are many who have a passion for changing lives and expressing themselves, but not everyone can do it well. That's why we embrace those that really create an impact, like yourself.

Gemma - professional speaking is one of the most rewarding career choices one can make! I continue to feel the power of making a difference in the lives of so many people after a presentation. It's a huge responsibility, one that I shoulder with great respect and care. Having a passion for it will ignite ideas as you go forward toward making this a reality for you. Best wishes!!! So happy for you to know that you've discovered this. Cheers!
