Hi Stephan,

I can't believe i forgot about this article. Sometimes i feel like there are certain things are temporarily made invisible or in fact not exist but temporarily made visible to us by our guides. I come this conclusion after a few incidents, i can swear, something either i read, saw, watched or heard but once I get back to double check after a few years i can't find them. As if they were never exist but had significant impact on my thought process (positively.) I am not sure if i am making sense.

Anyhow, this is very nice article. I hope you can expand this in the future more elaborately.

To "His Girl Friday":

Thanks for sharing your input about this article. I'm glad you found it impactful enough to let this idea percolate a bit more. Even though I wrote this piece, I find myself referring back to it from time to time in order to remind myself of my contract with God. It keeps things in perspective!

I think we are better for life's challenges, for the most part, however uncomfortable they can be at the time. I've been reading at another blog regarding character, how it's made, and the question of, are we doing the youth of today a disservice for not allowing more of the type of challenges or 'discomforts in learning' that so often produces better character.

I like the concept of 'what's your contract'...and will think on that some more! Like Zen's comment, I too believe working with horses really teaches a person a lot about themselves and life.
