There's always a lesson to be learned somewhere in every outside event. I loved the Celestine Prophesy! I read a few of the others that followed too, each of which were great. It's always about awareness like recognizing certain people were placed on your path to assist you through your painful divorce. And I would venture to say that the divorce was an event that taught you something. You've become a better person because of it. Interestingly enough, we don't want to be tested but the fact of the matter is we are always being challenged in one way or the other. Sol it's not what happens that matters but what you do about it. This realization first developed for me in reading the Celestine Prophesy. Thereafter, I began to be more aware of things. I especially determined this to be true when I experienced the beginnings of a divorce in 2005. Without question, people were placed in my life at the very time I needed them. It wasn't an accident. To me, it was an act of God who cared enough for me that he gave what I needed as I needed it. And as painful as the divorce was, many have said since that I am not the person I once was. I'm happier, stronger, more confident. I'm a changed person. So I truly feel that not only do we meet people for a reason but that things also happen for a reason. The world is far more complex than just a simple cause/effect. I just have to say that I truly believe things happen for a reason.
