That's right - listening with our eyes certainly offers a different way of listening, doesn't it? Being deaf has taught me that. I'm still stretching my perceived capacities as we speak - wondering what else I haven't tapped into.

I am fascinated with how some people have evolved to visualize musical notes and energies and "touch" sounds. It's incredible what potential we have that have barely scratched the surface.

Your suggestion of listening with the eyes reminds human beings that they are not limited to using their senses as they have been taught by human beings. In fact, it is by stretching your perceived capacities that you begin to uncover untapped potential and uses for dormant senses. As you evolve to sense silence, you can also explore how senses can be applied differently to how you have been taught. SOme people evolve to visualize musical notes and energies, to touch sound and do other quirky things that turn out to be normal.
